What is leveling sand? What is construction sand? And Modulus of Construction Sand
What is leveling sand?
Leveling sand is sand exploited from rivers and the sea. Leveling sand is often mixed with impurities such as paste clay, loose clay, peat, ... On average, it accounts for 10% to 15% of the total sand volume.
The leveling sand is dark gray in color, relatively smooth and small size.

Workers are leveling construction works
The leveling sand is often used as a cushion for soft ground types. It can also be used for elevation and leveling for construction.
What is construction sand?
Construction sand is of natural origin. It is composed of fine fine mineral particles and rocks. The size of construction sand is calculated as the average diameter ranges from 0.05 to over 3mm.
Types of construction sand modulus
Based on TCVN 7570: 2006 standard "aggregate for concrete and mortar - technical requirements" and construction standard TCXD 127: 1985 "fine sand for making concrete and mortar", construction sand is divided into 3 modules.
- Modular sand has magnitude ML> 2 ( known as golden sand, cast sand): it is used to pour concrete.
- Modular sand has magnitude ML = 1.5 ~ 2 (called fine sand, masonry sand): used in cement mortar in construction.
- Modular sand has magnitude ML = 0.7 ~ 1.4 ( known as fine sand, bowl sand): it is used in cement mortar used for plastering
Increasing Demand for Concrete Would Create Sand Scarcity
Increasing urbanization leads to the continuous development of infrastructure construction activities. The demand for sand exploitation has increased sharply to provide for construction activities. A series of alluvial sandbanks along rivers, riverbeds, .. in some countries have disappeared.

The increasingly vigorous urbanization is the cause of scarcity of sand resources
The current situation of construction sand sources is increasingly scarce. The use of artificial sand instead of natural sand has not fully solved the demand. Besides, quarrying to grind into artificial sand causes waste of resources.
The Cambodian government resumed exporting sand after 10 years of closure
After 10 years of issuing a ban on exporting sand to foreign countries, the Cambodian government has recently returned to exporting sand.
This helps Vietnam and other countries in the world to solve the problem of lack of construction sand.

Sand export activities to abroad from Cambodia
Sand sources for construction in Cambodia, especially Modular sand> 1.8 m3, meet the prescribed standards for use. This sand is rated as the best quality.
IBCO.GROUP is the unit assisting the Cambodian government in exporting construction sand to other countries
IBCO GROUP is honored to be the pioneer to help the Cambodian government export construction sand to Vietnam or to other countries with related services including: Dredging river beds, clearing estuaries, sand mining, transportation sand, barge rental, sand suction boat rental, installation of the filter system of clean sand modules as required by the most modern proprietary technology. (install the washing system right on the river - sea at sand mines or at debo gathering yards).

Classify sand modules according to customer requirements through the washing filter system
The IBCO team possesses professionally invested capacity and equipment. System of floating bridges, high-productivity barges and a team of workers with expertise in dredging ready to scrape, dredging and sand pumping, etc.

- Exporting construction sand to Vietnam for important projects
IBCO is the connecting unit helping the Cambodian government to export construction sand to other countries. This helps construction companies in Vietnam to access quality leveling sand and construction sand.
We specialize in providing distribution and transportation services for sand and other construction materials from mining to site. IBCO GROUP is had a system of trucks, river barge, sea barge, ponton barge, scraper, sand pump and human resources to meet the needs of exploitation - transportation for customers.
- Exporting construction sand to other countries
The system of sea barge, large tonnage ponton serving the export of sand from Cambodia in transit in Vietnam to other countries such as: Singapore, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, Qatar, United Kingdom, Greece, France, Netherlands, Gwang Ju Metropolitan, Korea (Korea), Muscat, Oman, India, Bahrain, Thailand, Minor United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, USA, Piastów, Poland, Sarai Alamgir, Pakistan, Kuwait, Houston, Texas, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental, Philippines, Bangladesh, Montegalda, Vi, Italy, Canada, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, Burswood, WA, Australia, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Maldives, Kolkata, Wexford, Ireland, Lucko, Croatia, North Point, Hong Kong, Colombo, Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, Hawally, Kuwait, ... ...
Filter-wash and classify the sand module according to customer requirements
Construction sand exploited from the river bed is always mixed with impurities such as clay mud, dirt, ... According to the construction industry, the content of mud mixed in the sand is the agent to reduce the adhesion of cement and sand in concrete. Construction sand mixed with many impurities reduces the adhesion of concrete mortar.
Impurities in sand affect the quality of concrete. In this case the required amount of cement must be increased, thus increasing shrinkage and causing cracking of the concrete. Therefore, IBCO GROUP has continued cooperation, researched, and improved to produce the most advanced clean sand cleaning system.

Dark gray sand mixed with many impurities that have not been filter & washed
Most of the sand used in construction is sifted through a manual screen to remove impurities. Sand sifting at the construction site can not remove impurities and are not technical, but also pollute the environment and waste the cost of transporting impurities to landfills.

System for washing and separating sand module according to customer requirements
Modern technology equipment lines could handle sand mixed with impurities through the system of washing, screening and separating sand modules very effectively. The sand washing water system is treated to standards before being discharged into the environment and can be installed flexibly at mining mines (on barge, on shore) or at the gathering yard of IBCO GROUP for production. clean sand products in accordance with customer requirements.
Form of cooperation with IBCO.GROUP and Cambodian government to export sand
The 06 steps of cooperation with IBCO.GROUP and the Cambodian government for overseas construction sand export activities are implemented according to the process as follows:
-
Quotation based on the volume of sand to be exported from Cambodia to Vietnam (minimum order 1 barge 1,200 m3) or exported to foreign markets (minimum order is at least 1 million cubic meters (m3)~ 1,600,000 tons for cutting quota according to the customer's name to the country where the sand is to be imported)
-
Checking and approving construction sand samples according to customer's requirements (both sides fix sand samples according to order requirements).
-
Visiting sand mines in Cambodia for customers who order large quantities.
-
Working with the importing port of goods from Cambodia to Vietnam & the transiting agency supporting temporary import and re-export of construction sand in Vietnam (specifically IBCO Vietnam for overseas orders)
-
Signing a contract, opening L / C for payment & a minimum 10% cash advance deposit according to L / C for the Cambodian government to cut export quota according to customer's name (no requirement for orders to Vietnam. )
-
Operating and transporting to the FOB place of delivery under an agreement at one of the following locations in Vietnam: float number 0 at Vinh Xuong border gate - An Giang (for a ponton or a 10,000-ton ship to enter), Cai Cui port in Can Tho (for ships of 15,000 tons), Hiep Phuoc port in Nha Be - Ho Chi Minh City (for ships up to 40,000 tons), or anchored at Thieng Lieng , Can Gio (for ships of 50,000 tons), ... As for Vietnamese customers, IBCO GROUP supports the delivery of works as required, wherever you are.
Services of exploiting - transporting and exporting sand from Cambodia to Vietnam and to countries in the world of IBCO GROUP is commited to be fast, safe, reputable and on time.
